Synopsis
Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
Daryl Dixon’s arrival sets off a violent chain of events that inadvertently puts a young boy at the heart of a growing religious movement in danger; Daryl agrees to help shepherd the boy to safety in.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres September 10 on AMC and AMC+.
Awards
We’re very proud to share the trailer for our latest VFX work on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon! The first episodes of the series are now available on AMC TV and AMC+.
Our teams were really excited about this project throughout the VFX production process. Especially when it came to transforming Paris into a post-apocalyptic city with over 300 visual effects shots spread across 6 episodes – all under the supervision of Jao M’Changama from Excuse My French, the overall visual effect supervisor on the show.
Congratulations to our MPC teams, led by Niranjan Sivagurunathan and supported in VFX production by Nicolas Nepveu. Also, kudos to Florent Taisne – DFX Supervisor, Christophe ‘Tchook’ Courgeau – Head of Matte Painting, and Rodolphe Zirah – CG Supervisor.
We’d also like to extend our thanks to Left Productions, Pilgrim, and First Step for their trust in us during the production of this series.
Don’t miss out on this latest chapter in the The Walking Dead universe!
